I so wish I could listen to your podcasts! I have dial-up (grr) & it would take 3 hours to download one cast!!! I can't wait til Comcast gets out here.

and I have traveled with knit picks metal sock needles (yea, these things really looked like weapons!) and I made it through security no problems.

Yay, I'm caught up! I travel with my Addi Turbos all the time and it's never been a problem. I was even hand-searched the last time I flew and the security guy didn't look twice at them.

But if you're worried, I heard the most genius idea on a knitting forum. Take the Knitpicks needles. Put your project on the cord and put the end caps on so it doesn't come off. Stick the tips in a pouch with a bunch of pens. Go through security. Re-assemble needle at the gate.

i traveled with my addi turbos size 1 needles around christmas time. no problems. i would bring a mailer and stamps with you though in case they decide to take them this way, you can just drop them in a mailbox and not loose them.
